Blood Donors network over mobile

Hi,
Suppose you are moving outside, suddenly you got a call that someone urgently needs blood with some group and it does not matches your group. How do you react?
Do you call all your friends and ask them for their blood group?

Please go thru below.
Sometime back, my friend got a call from his office at 11:00 PM regarding the requirement of A-ve blood. At that time we were in a marriage reception function. His colleague’s uncle was undergoing an operation and he required 3 bottles of A-ve blood by the next morning. He asked me but my blood group is A+ve. We asked one or two friends who were around us at that time, but none of them is matched. My friend's colleague went thru "friendstosupport.org" (This is a very good site that maintains the list of blood donors and is started with a desire to help the society) and contacted the donors in that site but unfortunately none of them were ready. He said those people were telling that “I have given two days back”, “I am in out of station”, “I am not ready now” etc. I also tried to contact all of my friends but I hesitated to call them since it was 11:00 pm. That too, I didn’t know exactly whose blood group is A-ve. The next day my friend's colleague managed to get blood in the right time.

But later on, I was thinking that, suppose in emergency situations like this, if at all anyone requires blood, how to identify the right person immediately with the same group?
One is maintaining a list of friend's blood groups in the system....But, if system is not available at that place, what will we do?
Next one is searching for donors in the net or contacting blood banks...Getting blood immediately from Blood banks is not possible always. In my experience, I have seen that most of us will not be interested to donate blood if unknown person asks us.
So I was thinking and thinking... and got one solution.
I have about 250 friends with their phone numbers stored in my mobile. I cannot contact all of them to inquire about their blood group. If we can also store their blood group just beside their name, we can easily contact the exact person in the right time. For example “Satish A+”. If everyone can store blood groups of their friends like this, we can form a blood donor’s network on our mobile phone itself. Generally, we carry our mobiles with us where ever we go. So in emergency, if anyone requires blood, we can search our mobiles for the right blood group and ask them for blood donation. If we don’t find required blood group in our list, we can inform other friends and they will search in their mobiles list. Like this, we can quickly get required blood group donor (of course, this person will donate or not is a different issue, but at least we can convince them in emergency situations) thru phone calls itself.
So I have started asking my friend's blood groups to store in my mobile along with their names. Do You? I have got this idea and wanted to share this with all.
By the by my blood group is A+ve.

So please form a blood donor’s network over the mobile phones and respond immediately in need.

దేవుడికైతే భజనలు చేయతానికి గుంపు కట్టి మరీ గంటలు గంటలు తగలేస్తాం
కాని సాటి మనిషి కష్టాల్లో ఉంటే స్వాంత వచనాలు మాట్లాడానికి ఒక్క నిముషం కూడా టైమివ్వం

మానవ సేవే మాధవ సేవా? తప్పు.. తప్పు... మాధవే సేవే మానవ సేవ.
